New Competition Area Dimensions The 12 meter by 12 meter competition mat should be used for all WTF-sanctioned events that are conducted on the ground floor or non-elevated surface. This inludes the 10m x 10m Competition Area plus the 1m border/safety area (with a contrasting color from the Competition Area).
