electronic scoring problems
Dear Ref Doctor, In matches with electronic scoring, when the scoring system breaks down but are not found until three or four points into the match what are the best approaches in handling these situations? I have handled this several different ways depending on the coaches/athletes. I am looking to develop a more consistent way of handling these situations. Joe

Yeah, it's me, the intern again...

I agree with you. The method of handling such situations should be consistant, not a function of who is sitting in the coaches chair.

To ME it seems like it is more a function of the amount of time that has passed and whether the break down is consistant for both red and blue, or just one of the colors isn't scoring..

This is the type of thing that is not addressed in the rule book. Perhaps this is something that our new referee Co-chairs would be willing to address.

Leon? John?

p.s. Patience may be required as they may already be on their way to Buenos Aires.
