RingMaster Open, May 5th, 2007, Marlborough MA

What: 2nd Annual RingMaster Open Taekwondo Championship
 When: Saturday, May 5th, 2007
Where: Marlborough, Massachusetts USA

Heads up everyone!  Reserve May 5th, 2007 for the RingMaster Open!

We are planning on double elimination in sparring and the new forms format for 14 and up Black Belt divisions.  All other divisions will again be using single repechage bracketing for sparring and forms.

We are in the process of getting a USAT sanction.

All USAT and AAU "A" and "B" team members are invited to participate free of charge.  We will also waive the entry fee for all international teams.

We are planning a referee seminar and medical seminar on the May 4th.  All referees that participate in the tournament will be reimbursed for the seminar and given a free copy of the ScoreMaster software (a $99 value)!  Referees will be provided airport pickup and lodging as required.

Coaches that bring 5 or more players will have there fee waived.

Online registration will be available in mid-March and we will again be holding a drawing for early registration.  3 competitors will be drawn to have their entry fees reimbursed.

The registration package and additional information will be posted on the RingMaster Open web site (www.ringmasteropen.net) in the next few weeks.  You can direct any questions or suggestions to me at ferguson@dvandva.com.

We are looking forward to a great tournament and are anticipating over 300 competitors.

Sincerely,

Jay Ferguson

Do you anticipate any problem with the HLTC program objecting to your referee seminar?

Elsewhere, Vincent Lo points out to us that people NOT preregistered at the NCTA referee seminar, have to pay double. Do you know if this is the case at your seminar?

i believe it is... you need to register online, if you don't then the seminar fee is a lot more... so, i guess i should be really clear... we will cover the $55 fee for the referee seminar...

thanks for pointing that out...

Most importantly, will you have chocolate?

Sure wish I could be there. I especially want the T-shirt.

Maybe next year.
