I'm sure there will be the usual need for more referees. Most often, travel costs are what keep us from attending the tournaments. I'm offering carpooling opportunities to any who are interested in York and Des Moines to any who might be interested. I'll be leaving early, traveling down I-80 from Michigan thru Ohio and I-76 thru Pennsylvania on March 28th, reversing that trip on the 31st. I'll be leaving Kokomo, IN on the afternoon of April 4th, traveling north to pick up I-80 thru to Des Moines. I'll return on the 7th. Anyone who wants a ride, please get in touch. For those of you who know my truck, rest assured, I'm renting something. There will be no danger of sudden automobile decompostion during the trip. I encourage anyone traveling by auto to any of the tournaments to use this forum to set up carpooling. Have to say the carpool thing is good and economical, however after driving straight from Des Moines Iowa to College Station Texas last year for NCTA's is a bit more than I care to do again. Besides, my starting point for the Des Moines trip, Kokomo, Indiana is the home of one of the oldest art glass manufacturing plants it the country, and they give tours on Friday morning.
