RingMaster - Timeout display
Modified By Scott Zeiter on 4/12/2006 7:41:22 AM)
Here's a quick suggestion for Master Ferguson to get this new forum going.

When a referee calls 'Shigan', generally the computer help is pretty quick at clicking the button to stop the clock. However, it takes one full second for it to be displayed on the score clock (the timeout section at the top right). It does not display until the time reaches :01 second. Quite honestly, one second is a long time in the heat of a match, and when there are only a few left. We as referees want to make sure that clock is stopped as soon as we call for it to be.

Is it possible to change RingMaster so that it displays 0:00 IMMEDIATELY upon click the Shigan button, so that the referee, coaches, and spectators know the clock has been stopped, instead of waiting for the 1 second refresh?

Re: RingMaster - Timeout display
Wow, as well. I've had this same suggestion for at least the past year. I think of it everytime I'm in the ring, but generally forget about it 2 days after I'm home from an event.

I'm very happy we have this mechanism in place now to relay our thoughts about electronic scoring to those that matter.

I usually come up with at least two or three suggestions at each event. Now I can get them written down and submitted while they are fresh in my mind.

Thank you Jay.
