ScoreIt - a referee training tool

This is to formally announce the availability of ScoreIt - a training tool for referees. ScoreIt is a fun video game like tool that will help train hand/eye coordination and simple decision making. It takes the user through an unlimited number of level to increase proficiency in scoring.

After a great deal of thought I have decided to give the system away free to all RingMaster customers. Individual systems are available to people without RingMaster for $125 each. The system include a pair of handgrips, an encoder box, connecting cable, and the software. The price of the system is the wholesale cost of the hardware.

My hope is that the availability of this tool will contribute to reducing the learning curve for beginners and to challenge the experienced referees while increase the overall level of scoring in Taekwondo.

You can download the software for ScoreIt at the RingMaster web site:

www.tkdringmaster.com. The access code is: ringmaster is the best

Sincerely,

jay ferguson

I got to play with this at Juniors. Too fun. And what a great way for referees to practice their button pushing skills.

Well, I'll lay out the first challenge... I'm up to Level 41. :-) BTW, this is a GREAT way to get comfortable with the mechanics of scoring, and to stop the "twitchy" clicks. Jim

So, are these all billable hours?

I'd love to take you up on that challange, but lack the hardware. Maybe I can borrow some...

Jay, I hear rumors that you have taken your Scoremaster to new heights. Something about video?
