For years we have applied technology to managing matches, recording and publishing the match score, and creating transparancy in match scoring. Now it is time to use technology to assist in training the judges to recognize and score points.

I am excited to announce ScoreMaster - a video based training and evaluation tool for Referees.

ScoreMaster provides a tool to annotate videos of matches with scoring information and then have judges score the video. Once the judges have scored the video ScoreMaster will display the points scored correctly, the points that were missed, and the points the judges scored but were not scored on the video. Each of these can be reviewed in slow motion on the video.
