I just don't understand why it is so popular, but in Michigan, if you don't golf, you ain't nobody. Three of the top 100 courses in the United States are in Michigan (http://www.golflink.com/top-golf-courses/). Looks to me like there are a ton of courses in the Detroit area (http://michigan.twoguyswhogolf.com/southeast.html or http://www.michigangolf.com/destination-guides/detroit-metro.htm) Like I said, golf is a mystery to me, but I know a lot of you really enjoy it so include it in your plans for your trip to Michigan.
