You might say to yourself, "Self, there is obviously a Baseball field right across from the venue, why hasn't she mentioned that?"
Because the Tigers are on the road the whole time we'll be there. Bummer.
But how about Museums?
Science, art, music, history, Detroit has a museum for you.
Within easy travel distance of the venue (in fact you can walk to many of them) you’ll find the Detroit Science Center (sciencedetroit.org), the Motown Historical Museum (Motownmuseum.com), the newly remodeled Detroit Institute of Arts (dia.org), the Detroit Historical Museum (detroithistorical.org), the Arab American National Museum (arabamericanmuseum.org), the Charles H Wright Museum of African-American History (maah-detroit.org), the Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Museum (tuskeegeeairmen.org) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (mocadetroit.org)
Personally, I hope to have time to go the the Detroit Institute of Arts while we're in town.
